We were a little concerned when they extended their visit to a little over an hour because the roof had to be hot...it was about 85 on Sunday here and they appeared to us to be thirsty. I made sure there was water in the birdbath and even put some extra out in the shrubbery in case they were shy. Through Facebook and a posting on the Facebook page of a local group, we were able to find the owners. By the time the owner returned our call, the birds had left us, flying south. Seven white doves...seven is thought to be God's number...he created the world in seven days, on the seventh he rested. Seven white doves on the seventh day! Doves are a symbol of God's love and a universal symbol of peace. What a blessing to have them visit us...almost like a message straight from God remind us that all is well. What a beautiful fingerprint of God are these lovely creatures!!

They were completely at ease with us, completely peaceful. They stayed with us about an hour.
